Cloud solution or in-house? The choice is yours!
The core of amily.ONE GmbH's system solutions is based on a client-server architecture. „amily“ can be operated with various models.
Model 1: On-Premise
You'll be hosting the SQL and app servers in-house yourself, taking care of security, maintenance, backups, and so on. A VPN connection between you and amily will only be established for maintenance purposes (updates, troubleshooting).
Model 2: amily.sky
As a Microsoft CSP – „Cloud Solution Provider / Indirect Reseller“ – we can, supported by our partners, access the complete portfolio of Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft Online portfolio.
Our installations are preferably in the Azure region West Europe (Frankfurt), but can be carried out in any data centre in the EU or Switzerland (Zurich). The servers are operated in a dedicated area for you („own tenant“) in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. All maintenance activities (backups, scripts, integrity, security, etc.) are carried out by amily.ONE GmbH. Client access to the servers is via a Site-to-Site IPsec VPN connection. Alternatively, connection via „Point-to-Site“ is possible.
Additionally, there is the option to run client operations via Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) by amily. The direct proximity of the clients to the cloud-based database results in high speeds, particularly for time-consuming tasks, which your Campaign Managers will be delighted with.
